Embossed Brass chest of drawers

This Brass chest of drawers brings the warmth of the Indian sunshine into your home. The Brass sheets are embossed by hand using time honoured techniques that date back to the 16th century. Wooden blocks are hand carved with the required pattern and the brass sheets are hammered by hand to impress the pattern onto the metal. This method was used for embossing silver on the Maharaja’s palace furniture in the days of the Moghul dynasty of Rajasthan and has not changed in the last 400 years.
