Jade bone inlay Art Deco chest of drawers

This Jade Green bone inlay chest takes inspiration from the sleek, geometric stylised forms of the Art Deco movement of the 1920’s. The inlay pattern is a true fusion of East and West with the bold geometry and rich colours crafted by hand with traditional Indian materials. The solid bone handles finish the piece nicely, the cream off white colour blending well with the jade green resin. As well as being visually stunning this Rajasthani chest of drawers also has the provenance of hours of craftsmanship, this pattern is not printed or painted but each component is hand carved from the solid organic material of camel bone. All the bone is ethically sourced from camels that die of old age after long and happy lives in the Rajasthani desert.
