Hand-crafted by the finest Indian woodworkers, this Indian sideboard is both beautiful and durable so that it will last for generations. Crafted by our artisan woodworkers in Rajasthan, this white sideboard is made from only sustainably-grown mango wood that has been crafted using techniques passed down from generations of master woodworkers. The antique feel of this piece is created with a distressing technique commonly used by our Rajasthani wood workers- and this piece fits into the shabby chic category so popular among home owners in the UK. These techniques are also employed on our colourful Rajasthani painted furniture and are the the same as those used to craft that magnificent furniture still found in the glittering palaces of northern India, so by purchasing one of our pieces, you’re bringing home an authentic piece of Indian tradition.

This wonderful White distressed  Indian sideboard has 6 chunky shaped drawers either side of cupboards that give a pleasing rustic symmetry. Its subtle and versatile feel mean it is well suited to any interior scheme. All of the wood used in our furniture is sustainably grown in keeping with Iris Furnishings excellent environmental and ethical fair trade practices. To guarantee that these standards are met, we personally travel to the Rajasthani region to meet with our furniture suppliers and craftsmen. This also allows us to guarantee that our furniture is always of the highest quality.
