Our artisans follow a tradition of metal overlay furniture techniques that has been perfected over generations and can be viewed today in many of Rajasthan’s palaces. Nickel alloy sheets are stretched over Mango wood and nailed in place with tiny pins to give a smooth and eye catching mirror like finish. The finished bedside chests are solid, sturdy and reassuringly heavy- a world away from the flimsy flat packed furniture so common around Europe today
